It has been a major fear of many women within a certain age group to get pregnant and it should be a major concern. A child cannot raise a child. Being a mother is not just a title or a label, it is a sacrifice. Persons, especially those in their teens believe it is not “that bad” but it takes a strong mind and body to raise a child. It also takes MONEY and what females need to keep in mind is that a man can get up and walk out and it is you that will be left with all the responsibilities. You have to be prepared to stand alone.

It is understandable that life happens and people do get pregnant at times when they are not ready but no one gets pregnant by accident unless it is force upon the female but once you are sexually active, ALL things are possible. One must be ready to take on the consequences that follow when you engage in sexual activities.
Before you engage in sexual activities, consider these factors being a mother:
1: It is your responsibility to financially take care of your baby. Most times this puts a major road-block in one’s life as the female as to ensure she is in a position to pull her weight if the man should forfeit his role as father. If you are a teen, you probably will be required to pause your education.
2: Your fun times will be put on hold. Having a baby is not the same as having a doll. You cannot play with it and put it down and move on to other things. You will be required to ensure your baby’s needs are covered all the time.
3: You are a “nurturer”. It is your role as a mother to ensure you comfort your baby which means that your mental capacity is healthy and able to give this to your child.
Being a mother is no walk in the park. It takes a major sacrifice.
Are you really ready?
