Is it LOVE or just SEX?

Love is beautiful but what makes love between man and woman even more special is intimacy. A lot of persons juxtapose intimacy with sex when they are two opposites. Sex is BANG BOOM BANG but intimacy is the art of expressing love through caressing, kissing, hugging and ultimately making love (sex). You can have sex with anyone once there is lust and for some people, once there is cash but you can’t be intimate with everyone because that attaches REAL LOVE. Now, there are a lot of definitions for love and love has been characterized in types and categories but the type of love being targeted is the intimate love between man and woman.

You need to understand that there is a major difference between being in love and loving someone. When you are in love with someone, you go out of your way to do things to impress them. For the ladies, you cook, you clean his house, you iron his clothes --- in essence, you bend your back! When women fall in love, they will do everything. For men, they will spend their last dime to ensure he impresses (dinners, movies etc.). This stage is admirable because it is within this phase of relationship, it is most adorable. I am sure a lot of persons will attest that when you are in love, it is like you breathe the person’s air as all you think about is the person and their affairs and their life. You become totally consumed and I describe this stage as The Miracle Bomb! We encourage people to enjoy it and guess what, you can maintain it. Please do not, we repeat, DO NOT listen to the advice of people who are not in love and don’t understand the foundation of love that it is only a phase. It is a stage and ALL stages in relationship can be maintained. Now, when you love someone, it is quite different because at this stage, you accept the person as your significant other and so the days of going all out, somewhat diminishes and there is absolutely nothing wrong with this stage as it is perfectly normal as humans to become comfortable with each other. So with that established, let’s jump to the issue at hand – are you having sex with someone you should be making love with?

Sex usually is a release of imprisoned emotions or hormones. It is an activity that usually goes very quickly and it doesn’t really involve a lot of caressing and kissing if it doesn't involve intimacy. It is just a plug to a socket and BOOM – it is over (The man ejaculated and the women feels like weight was lifted). To make love is to be in love.

Below are some tips to ignite that fire.

• Space. Now, we are sure the question will surface about the couples who are married or those that live together. Ladies, you need to give your man space and time to miss you and desire you. Gentlemen, you need to give your woman space to allow her to reminisce on you and moments shared.

• Gifts of Gratitude. We believe that words come alive when it is infused with action. You express love by the things you do and the things you give. Gentlemen, give your woman a teddy-bear with her name on it, get her a necklace, a bracelet, roses, candy, and take her on a romantic dinner. Ladies, cook a romantic meal for your man, dress sexy for him, buy him gifts and hey – take him out to dinner! YES, take him out! Express it by giving a gift that reflects how grateful you are to have the person in your life. It is a privilege when someone loves you and you should NEVER take that for granted.

• TRANSPARENCY. Be honest with your partner. It is best to make your partner your best friend. Share your life because when you are transparent, it is when you will experience love at its highest.
